A wild red ale aged in oak with zinfandel grapes.
"A wild red ale that was fermented and aged in oak foeder after inoculation in our coolship. After fermentation and extended aging, we added late picked Zinfandel grapes from Southern Oregon for a secondary fermentation and further aging. When mature, the beer was transferred to virgin French oak casks for further development and nuance. The final beer shows a toasty and rich oak complexity to balance its vinous nature, all melded with a rich Brettanomyces funk and a modest acidity."
